
McKenzie earned her Master of Arts and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Alfred University in 2020, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical and Child Psychology in 2016. She is a licensed school psychologist by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. McKenzie has experience working in school, university, and clinical settings with individuals with disabilities ages 3-21. As a school psychologist, she is trained in the administration of comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and evidence-based interventions to support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning of children. She has experience working with children with a variety of needs including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, and intellectual and learning disabilities.
