Ms. Frick received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education in general and special education from Kansas State University and holds a birth-Kindergarten teaching licenses in North Carolina and Kansas. She is currently working on her doctoral studies in early childhood special education. Ms. Frick has 13 years of experience working in early childhood education as a lead teacher in infant, toddler, and preschool childcare classrooms and as an early intervention teacher supporting children and families. Ms. Frick has also served as an early intervention program coordinator. She has experience in mentoring practicum students and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. In her role as a Professional Development Specialist at FIPP, Ms. Frick uses her extensive experience and expertise in early intervention, family-centered practices, research, and teaching to promote FIPP’s mission and groundbreaking work in early intervention through facilitating research projects, developing and disseminating tools and guides, and providing live and virtual professional development.
