Dr. Porter graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2023 from Wichita State University (WSU). Kaitlin also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from WSU. Kaitlin is a licensed physical therapist through the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Dr. Porter has experience working with GoBabyGo, a national program to modify ride-on-toy cars for children with disabilities specific to their needs to help expand their environment by providing a highly motivating form of independent mobility. Kaitlin joined FIPP in June 2023. She has clinical experience working with both pediatrics and adults in inpatient, outpatient, and home settings. Through this experience, Kaitlin grew to love supporting children and their families in their natural environments. Dr. Porter supports children and families with functional mobility, assistive technology and adaptive equipment, and motor development. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat.
